Vietnam’s international trade hub

Following the success of VIFA ASEAN 2025, which featured 230 exhibitors and nearly 9,000 visitors – including over 2,000 international buyers and visitors from 67 countries and territories – the fourth VIFA ASEAN Fair will be held this September at SECC (Ho Chi Minh City), and promises to be “a vibrant trading hub with numerous engaging programmes” …

“In recent years, Vietnam's furniture industry has firmly established its position on the global trade map, thanks to abundant human resources, flexible adaptability and continuous innovation,” begins Lien Minh VIFA Corp, the company behind the VIFA shows.

“Not only contributing significantly to the national export turnover and creating millions of jobs, the Vietnamese furniture industry has also risen to become one of the world's leading production and export hubs – and, building on that strong momentum, VIFA ASEAN 2026 emerges as a key trading platform, serving as a vital bridge to help exhibitors connect their supply chains, expand their international customer networks, and affirm their superior competitive capacity in the global market.”

The Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA ASEAN) 2026, taking place from 2nd–5th September at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, is a leading regional international fair for furniture, home decor and handicrafts, and a gathering place for a diverse community of businesses from Vietnam and across South East Asia.

Following on from VIFA’s spring edition, VIFA ASEAN 2026 acts as a “strategic link”, says Lien Minh, as it takes place immediately after KOFURN (27-30th August in South Korea), before the trade journey continues with these subsequent fairs: MFFM (3rd-5th September, Malaysia); Maison Shanghai (7-10th September, China); Furniture China (8-11th September); CIFF (China); WMF (China); and IFFINA (Indonesia), helping international buyers optimise their time and expand their sourcing opportunities.

Across the supply chain

Helping maintain Vietnam’s position as a global furniture manufacturing hub, VIFA ASEAN promises to again be a key export event, with an expected scale of over 600 booths and the presence of over 200 exhibitors from Vietnam, South East Asia and elsewhere in Asia.

The exhibition focuses on the supply chain across four key industry groups: Indoor and Outdoor Furniture (diverse styles and purposes); Home Décor and Handicrafts (elevating living spaces with unique and practical products); Design & Architecture Trends (updating construction solutions and sustainable trends); and Machinery, Materials, and Supporting Services (comprehensive solutions for modern production lines).

Why participate?

There are numerous reasons furniture businesses should participate in VIFA ASEAN 2026, Lien Minh explains: “Access, introduce and receive orders directly from thousands of multinational buyers with diverse needs in a short time, while affirming brand prestige in the international market.

“VIFA ASEAN serves as a sustainable platform for exhibitors to seek export orders on the spot, with opportunities to reach and close deals with thousands of reputable buyers, and helping exhibitors from South East Asia learn about and penetrate the rapidly developing Vietnamese market.

“We create a professional B2B connection space with networking sessions, making business connections easy, convenient and cost-effective for exhibitors, and participating exhibitors receive support packages to promote their brand image, helping them reach the right potential customers.”

Comprehensive support

Every effort is made to optimise participants’ experience and connections, the show organiser continues: “Exhibitors registering early, making timely payments or requiring large display areas will receive cost incentives and priority in selecting prime booth locations at SECC.

“All participating exhibitors are supported in brand promotion through the exhibition's official media channels, helping to spread the business image to the VIFA community, and we design specialised B2B meetings, helping exhibitors connect directly with potential partners and distributors according to market demand.

“There’s also the VIP Buyer Program exclusively for major buyers, with privileges such as accommodation support, VIP reception packages and procedural support, plus more general provision of free shuttle bus services, airport support, accommodation support from official partner hotels, as well as factory tours and exclusive industry seminars.

“VIFA ASEAN is not just a trade fair, but a sustainable platform for exhibitors to secure on-site export orders, build a global network of strategic customers, optimise media costs, and affirm superior competitive capacity in an increasingly integrated international context,” Lien Minh concludes.

“For these reasons, VIFA ASEAN is the ideal destination for the South East Asian furniture and home decor community to connect with the global market.”
