The team behind the NorthPoint Furniture & Bed Show reports a successful three days of bringing retailers, manufacturers and sales agents together in Edinburgh for "a busy event filled with new products, fresh conversations and valuable business opportunities".
Held from 11-13th October at Lowland Hall, Royal Highland Centre, the show welcomed visitors from across Scotland and England. "There was a buzz in the hall throughout," explains the show's organiser, the Scottish Furniture Reps Association (SFRA), "with retailers taking time to explore collections, reconnect with familiar faces and discover potential new supply partners.
"The move to October marked a new chapter for NorthPoint. The response from visitors and exhibitors demonstrated the continuing value of a regional trade show where buyers can see products, meet the people behind the brands and have meaningful conversations about their businesses.
"Across furniture, upholstery, beds and mattresses, exhibitors showcased products designed to help retailers refresh their displays and offer customers something different. Orders were placed, feedback was shared and relationships were strengthened over all three days."
The social side of the event also provided an opportunity for the trade to come together beyond the exhibition floor, with a dinner in Edinburgh on the Monday evening extending conversations and connections.
Organised by members of the SFRA, NorthPoint continues a tradition of more than 38 years of bringing the industry together.
"This year’s show combined that established community spirit with renewed momentum," the association adds. "Encouragingly, many exhibitors are already looking to book space for 2027, reflecting the positive response to this year’s event and confidence in its future."
The organiser extends its thanks to every visitor, exhibitor, representative and partner who helped make NorthPoint 2026 a success.
"With strong attendance, a lively atmosphere and business done, the show delivered on its strapline, 'Discover. Connect. Grow'.
"Attention now turns to building on that success for the NorthPoint 2027," the SFRA concludes.
