Another Country partners with Goldfinger

Contemporary wooden furniture and accessory specialist Another Country has taken a majority stake and entered into a strategic partnership with Goldfinger, a sustainable design studio, which the former's founder Paul de Zwart says he has "long admired for their craft, ethos and commitment to community".

"Together we are on a mission to build the UK's best purpose-driven furniture and design brand," he continues. "With Goldfinger alongside us, our in-house capabilities and expertise will continue to grow in depth and scale. We’ve strengthened our ability to design and make bespoke commissions alongside our customisable collections, while deepening our promise to responsible manufacturing. And with expanded workshops across the UK and Portugal, we can deliver larger projects without compromising on what matters most."

Both Another Country and Goldfinger carry B Corp certification. Paul says the brands "will continue to champion the natural home, designing pieces made to last, made responsibly, free of unhealthy VOCs and that carry a story worth telling".

Goldfinger's co-founder Marie Carlisle and chief impact officer Leslie Feeney (pictured) will remain on the board.
