ercol Furniture's sales and marketing director Arno Koch will be leaving the business at the end of September to take up an opportunity elsewhere in the industry, prompting the promotion of two existing team members.
Arno has been with ercol for six years and has played an instrumental role in the development of the company’s core UK market. During his time with ercol, he has strengthened both the sales and marketing functions, says the manufacturer, building experienced teams and developing strong relationships with customers and partners.
"Arno’s departure also provides us with an opportunity to recognise and promote two valued members of the ercol team, who will take up new roles from 1st October," says ercol.
"Geoffrey Stafford, currently national sales manager, will join the board as sales director. Based within the market, Geoff will focus on ercol’s core UK retail partners and continue to develop the strong relationships he has built across the customer base. With many years of experience within the furniture industry, Geoff brings extensive knowledge of ercol, its customers and the UK retail market to his new role.
"Monika Witney, currently marketing manager, will become head of marketing, taking responsibility for the execution of ercol’s marketing and brand strategies. Monika has been with ercol for 21 years and has held a number of roles across the business, including positions within sales, customer services and marketing. Her experience and in-depth knowledge of ercol and its customers provide a strong foundation for her new role."
