Ercol Furniture is to open its first ercol-branded store this autumn, on the Kings Road, Chelsea.
The furnituremaker says it has has focused on strengthening its distribution and quality of retail with its independent network outside the M25 over the past few years, while keeping an eye on the right opportunity to access the inner London market.
The 3500 sqft flagship store in Chelsea is set to introduce the collection to a new audience and demographic, while strengthening the brand’s UK distribution.
Ercol Furniture, a wholly owned family company, says: "The ercol franchise store will create closer relationships with the end-consumers and the design community, and will allow the company to engage more frequently with the national press and media."
