For the fourth year in a row, global retailer JYSK has been recognised by Forbes as one of the World's Best Employers. The recognition reflects JYSK's continued focus on employee satisfaction and development while supporting the company's international growth ambitions.
"We are committed to creating a workplace where employees feel empowered, valued and motivated, and where they can be themselves. Our ambition is to be employees' first choice within retail, and this achievement shows that we are well on our way," says Jan Verhoek, EVP HR, JYSK.
The ranking is compiled by Forbes in partnership with market research company Statista. Each year, more than 300,000 employees across over 50 countries participate in independent surveys evaluating employers on a wide range of workplace factors.
The recognition comes in a year when JYSK has already delivered strong results in employee satisfaction. This spring, the retailer completed its Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS), with 98% of employees across stores, distribution centres and head office taking part.
For the first time, JYSK achieved top-in-class results across all key drivers of job satisfaction. Overall job satisfaction increased by two points to 77 out of 100, while employee loyalty rose by two points to 84.
"The Forbes recognition comes on top of our strongest employee satisfaction results to date. Seeing both positive feedback from our own employees and external recognition gives us confidence that we are on the right track and creating a workplace where employees want to stay and grow," says Jan.
