Loaf is expanding its London presence, with its 11th Shack (its take on a showroom) opening in Islington, London, on 17th July.
The launch comes after the successful opening of its Chiswick store last summer, and follows the recent closure of Loaf’s Spitalfields showroom, as the brand relocates to a larger site "to better serve its growing customer base".
Situated on Essex Road, just a five-minute walk from Angel tube station, the 4100 sqft high street store has been designed by Loaf’s in-house team in collaboration with design studio, Studio Jill. Following the latter's work on Loaf’s recent Chiswick opening, Studio Jill continues to play a key role in elevating the look, feel and overall experience, while staying true to Loaf’s unique character.
The Islington Shack will be home to the retailer's first-ever Movie Lounge, complete with free popcorn and film screenings. It will also house family-friendly additions such as a colouring-in station, offer free choc ices, and dogs are welcome.
Loaf’s CEO Sam Perkins says: “Opening in Islington marks another exciting step in our London expansion. We're continuing to grow our presence across the city, making it easier for people to experience what we’re all about – laid-back comfort, thoughtful design, and a space to properly unwind. We look forward to welcoming you soon!”
The store is located at 53-57 Essex Rd, London, N1 2SF.
