Industry leaders gathered in force at Northern Big Shots earlier this month, raising an impressive £7300 in aid of industry charity The Furniture Makers' Company.
Organised by the charity’s North West Region, the annual clay pigeon shoot took place on 17th October, once again held at the Catton Hall Shooting Ground in Frodsham.
Fifteen teams from furnishing companies including Celtheath, Furniture Village, Hypnos, KI, Panaz, Sealy, Sofa Source and Whitemeadow took part in the industry fundraiser.
After competing in the unseasonably warm weather, the more-than 60 guests enjoyed lunch, before a charity auction and raffle.
The Furniture Makers’ Company would like to thank the sponsors of the event – Celtheath, Essential Soft Furnishings, Hypnos Beds, Jay-Be Beds, Pro Auction, Sealy and Sofa Source.
Jonny Westbrooke, CEO at The Furniture Makers’ Company, says: “Northern Big Shots has established itself as a fantastic fundraising and networking event in the north of England, thanks to the hard work of our North West Region. The money raised from the event will enable us to continue supporting people’s welfare, educating for the future and inspiring excellence.”
Phil Hopkins, chairman of the North West Region, adds: “I would like to thank all our sponsors and attendees for supporting Northern Big Shots, which raised a significant amount for our industry charity. We have a number of fun social events planned for the future so if you are based in the North West, please do consider joining us at one of them – everyone from the industry is welcome.”
