Oak Furnitureland opens in Ipswich

Oak Furnitureland opened a new 17,000 sqft showroom on Euro Retail Park in Ipswich this weekend, showcasing its expanding ‘Whole Home’ proposition, and featuring a series of fully styled roomsets to help customers visualise looks across living, dining and bedroom spaces.

The offering includes several new ranges including the Savannah and Corton collections, which feature "elevated and modern cabinetry" designed for the living room, bedroom and dining spaces such as TV units, coffee tables and bedframes.

Customers will also be able to see the new Phoenix CineLuxe and Hadley sofas: "A high-back recliner, the Hadley is also complete with a USB-C charging port while the Phoenix tech sofa features reclining seats and integrated speakers for a fully immersive experience," states the retailer.

The opening has created seven new jobs locally, including roles across sales and showroom management.

Lee Finch, showroom manager, says: “The team is really excited to open the doors to our new Ipswich showroom. Our team will be on hand to help you choose the right pieces for your home.”

Chief executive Alex Fisher adds: “It’s great to be opening a new showroom in Ipswich – it’s an important step as we continue to invest in our network across the UK. We’re really proud of our expanding range of high-quality, stylish furniture – offering great value at outstanding prices, and which is designed to grow with our customers’ homes.”

Last year, the retailer launched its Lifetime Furniture Guarantee, which covers the structural framework of both cabinet and upholstery collections. Flexible IFC options are also available.

This latest opening takes the retailer's estate to 70 showrooms nationwide.
