Sales specialist pledges to help Nepal charity

Sam King, the selling specialist behind training provider From Fear to Mindful, says he has committed to donate 20% of the business' earnings to Pahar Trust Nepal, a charity that works to build schools, clean sanitation systems, and put water supplies in place in some of the most remote, earthquake-affected regions of the country.

"For the communities they serve, it’s the difference between a life of limitation and one full of possibility," says Sam, whose business aims to help independent furniture businesses "double their profits in two years or less – not by increasing ad spend, but by working smarter with what they already have", building footfall, joint ventures, referral systems and sales training programmes.

"And here’s the kicker – 75% of our fee is linked to your results," says Sam, "so we only get paid when you do.

"Thanks to our results, I’m now on a mission to build an entire school in Nepal by this time next year. It costs just £30,000 to do it. Not millions. Not a government grant. Just good-hearted retailers doing good business — and making a genuine difference in the world.

"If you'd like to support that goal — whether it’s £10 or £1000 — you donate via the trust's website. Please mention my name so the Pahar Trust knows where the love came from!

"Let’s build something brilliant – for your business, and for a bunch of children halfway across the world who deserve a proper shot at life."
