Swyft, the British furniture brand known for its design-led, easy-to-assemble furniture, has announced the opening of its second store, in Battersea, London, on 16th July.
Following the success of its first bricks-and-mortar location in Islington Square last October, Swyft’s new Battersea store marks the next phase in the brand’s retail expansion, bringing Swyft’s full furniture collection to South West London for the first time, giving customers the opportunity to see the brand’s sofas, beds, dining furniture, office pieces, accessories and more in person.
Located at 72 Queens Circus, 326-342 Queenstown Road, SW8, the 3,000+ sqft space has been designed to showcase Swyft’s signature approach to modern living, "combining timeless design, quality craftsmanship and a simple, stress-free shopping experience".
Just 10 months ago, Swyft had no physical retail presence. After launching its first store in Angel last year, the brand says it has seen strong demand from customers wanting to experience its furniture first-hand before bringing pieces into their homes.
Keiran Hewkin, co-founder and CEO of Swyft, says: “When we launched Swyft, our mission was always to make buying furniture simpler. We built the brand around fast delivery, thoughtful design and products that fit seamlessly into modern life.
"Opening our first store in Islington showed us how valuable it is for customers to see, touch and experience our designs in person. Less than 10 months after having no bricks-and-mortar presence, we’re now expanding our physical stores across London to give customers even more ways to discover Swyft.”
The opening forms part of a London retail expansion for the brand this summer, with stores coming to Westfield Stratford and Westfield White City as well as wider UK expansion in 2027, and further stores planned.
