Tempur's team takes on Snowdon for Zarach

Sleep brand Tempur is stepping up its support for Zarach, the charity working to end child bed poverty in England, with a 30-strong team of staff taking on a fundraising challenge to climb Mount Snowdon.

On 11th September, the Tempur UK team will tackle Snowdon as the first stage of the company’s Three Peaks challenge, raising funds and awareness for Zarach and its mission to ensure every child in the UK has a bed of their own. The challenge builds on the brand's ongoing support for the charity, which shares Tempur's conviction that quality sleep is vital in supporting both physical and mental health.

Funds raised by the team will help Zarach provide beds and bed bundles for children who need them, creating a safe and comfortable environment for children to rest, learn and thrive.

Tempur UK previously donated £10,000 towards Zarach’s 2025 festive Big Give campaign. The week-long initiative enabled Zarach to deliver more than 400 beds and bed bundles to children experiencing bed poverty.

Tobin James, MD at Tempur UK, says: “We are incredibly proud to be continuing our support for Zarach and to be putting our team behind such an important cause.

"The fact that a bed – one of the most basic necessities – can be out of reach for so many families is heartbreaking. As a business dedicated to helping people sleep better, we know just how important a safe, supportive and comfortable sleeping environment can be.

“Sleep gives the brain and body the opportunity to rest, repair and recharge. For children in particular, quality sleep is essential to healthy growth and development, as well as supporting concentration, learning and performance. That’s why Zarach’s work resonates so strongly with our team.

“We’re delighted to be taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to help raise vital funds and awareness, and ultimately help more children access a bed of their own and the opportunity to enjoy a good night’s sleep.”
