On 6th May, Bedmaker Vispring was honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
Vispring is one of 252 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, and has been recognised for its excellence for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over three years.
Employing 200 people, Vispring was founded in 1901 and manufactures bespoke, luxury beds and mattresses. Vispring’s founder was the first to introduce the individual pocket spring to mattresses, and today, the business combines technical expertise with fine natural ingredients.

The award programme is now in its 58th year. A total of 257 awards were made on this occasion, with five companies being recognised with two awards.
