Wayfair reveals next stage of ad campaign

Wayfair has unveiled the second evolution of its UK-wide, consumer campaign, ‘Get it out of your head and into your home’.

Wayfair says: "Have you ever whiled away the hours thinking about that spacious dining table that will finally accommodate your growing family? Or meditating on that pink velvet sofa that’s been on your moodboard for what feels like forever? Or obsessing over the perfect firm mattress, that is on the Goldilocks scale of just right?

"When furniture is all you can think about, Wayfair offers the effortless antidote of turning your dream spaces into reality with this 2.0 campaign.

"Shown across two, 20-second TV ads we see a curious commuter cyclist and mud-splattered rugby player pondering their own furniture fantasies, before being brought back to reality by jolt of a car horn and the shrill of a whistle, humorously blurring the line between daydreaming and real life."

Carey Pearson, head of brand at Wayfair UK, says: “Our new UK campaign captures the magic of turning inspiration into real life. We have all daydreamed about that one homeware item that will make a huge difference to the look or practicalities of our home – this campaign reminds customers that with Wayfair’s unrivalled selection and fast shipping, we can make their dream spaces a reality, quickly and effortlessly.”

Mike Pearson, head of creative at Wayfair UK, adds: “Inspiring and delighting our customers is truly at the heart of everything we do at Wayfair, and our mission is to support everyone to find homewares and furniture that truly celebrate their individuality, whilst having some fun along the way. This creative collaboration with JvM presented an exciting opportunity to showcase the unexpectedly playful side of furnishing your home. Whatever your home style, at Wayfair, we will be able to fulfill your ultimate furnishings fantasies.”

This UK-wide, omnichannel campaign launches today across TV, website, email, display, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube. From May, the campaign will also be seen with OOH motifs shot by photographer Robert Rieger.

Campaign production and concepting were executed in collaboration with global creative company, Jung von Matt, with the commercial directed by industry veteran Chris Balmond, known for his work with McDonalds, Amazon Prime Video and Guinness, among others.
