Manchester Furniture Show (MFS), the furniture and interiors industry's pivotal mid-year sourcing event, will return to Manchester Central on 5-6th July, continuing its decades-long tradition of bringing together brands and buyers at a key point in the retail calendar.
MFS has become a firm date in the calendar for retailers, designers and buyers, offering "serious sourcing and relaxed networking" opportunities between the major January shows and the Q4 buying cycle, says organiser, The Furniture Shows.
"Where business meets cutting-edge comfort and innovation, MFS 2026 will bring together more than 150 brands showcasing over 25,000 products to more than 4,000 buyers from across the furniture and interiors industry.
"Visitors are guaranteed to discover new pieces, with 50% of exhibiting brands new for 2026, including , Hill Interiors, Avriio, Home of Wool, Kamjo and Sensowell.
"Other leading brands showcasing their latest collections include Lebus Upholstery, Baker Furniture, Whitemeadow, Ashwood Designs, Buoyant Upholstery, Scatter Box, La-Z-Boy UK, Image Furnishings and Alpha Designs."
Back by popular demand, the Women in Furniture Network (WIFN) panel returns to this year's MFS with a strong line-up of industry leaders. Taking place on Monday 6th July from 11:30am-1pm, the panel discussion, entitled Shared Growth in Action, will bring together influential voices from across the furniture and interiors sector to share their leadership journeys, industry insights and personal experiences.
The panellists include: Lisa Flannery (MD, Claremont); Gisela Lancaster (former head of buying, Sofology); Sophia Carbonell, head of ecommerce sales, Julian Bowen); and Kirsty Whyte (award-winning creative and design director).
Before and after the discussion buyers can take advantage of unique networking opportunities with the panellists.
Reflecting on the impact of last year’s panel, Deirdre Mc Gettrick, founder and CEO of ufurnish.com, says: "Listening to the inspiring female leaders at the WIFN event really made me reflect on my own journey and how fast the industry is evolving. There are so many talented women leading organisations in ways we don’t often see, so I love hearing those stories being brought to the front."
To celebrate the world's biggest sporting competition, the official Manchester Furniture Show party will take on a FIFA World Cup-inspired theme, bringing together brands and buyers for an evening of networking. The party will kick off at 6pm on 5th July at The Junction Bar, where guests can "soak up the tournament atmosphere while connecting with industry colleagues", says The Furniture Shows.
Reflecting the show’s importance to the sector, 2026 MFS sponsors and partners from across the sector and key trade associations include the British Furniture Association, Furniture News, Interiors Monthly, Big Furniture Group, British Independent Retailers Association, InteriorDaily and New Designers.
The show is less than two weeks away, but there is still time to register to attend as a buyer, or book a stand to exhibit.
