Manchester Furniture Show returns this week

The Manchester Furniture Show (MFS) returns to Manchester Central from 10-11th July for the first time in five years, and promises to offer buyers and brands a key summer sourcing opportunity.

MFS is set to showcase brands (over 40% of them new to the event) including Alpha Designs, Amberbright, Ashwood Designs, At The Helm, Baker Furniture, Bluebone Imports, Buoyant Upholstery, Cofra, Creation Italia/Incanto, Decortie UK, Furnico, Kettle Home, La-Z-Boy UK, Lebus Upholstery, New Trend Concepts, Paramount Quilting, Premier Housewares, RS Furniture, Ultimate Home Living, Welcome Furniture, and more.

Buoyant Upholstery states: "We have lots of favourites coming to Manchester, as well as some new and exciting models. Buoyant will be bringing a range of timeless sofas, including our newly launched Easy Motion loungers in exciting textures, colours and designs. Our commitment to comfort, style, and durability ensures that each piece not only looks stunning but also stands the test of time."

Kettle Home will also be presenting new and in-demand styles, and urges visitors to visit stand D10 to see the latest products to join its Essentials, Originals and Signature ranges.

Alongside the stands, At The Helm will present two trend installations to ensure buyers are sourcing the best on-trend products, patterns and colour schemes for the season ahead.

MFS provides a mid-year touchpoint to meet with new and existing clients for face-to-face sales opportunities. Retailers looking for products in time for Christmas will include the likes of Arighi Bianchi, B&Q, Benson for Beds, Connollys of Moy, Cookes, DFS, Dreams, Fishpools, Happy Beds, Housing Units, Loom Loft, Oak Furnitureland, Next, Robert Dyas, ScS, Sofology, Stollers, Stokers, Tesco, The Very Group, Toons and more.

During the show The Spritz Bar, sponsored by Claimlane, will provide an opportunity to catch up with clients and confirm sales while, through the show’s enhanced VIP programme, key buyers will be able to "source the show in style", says organiser Clarion Events.

On Wednesday from 6pm visitors and exhibitors can gather for the Summer Solstice Show Party at The Junction, where there will be complimentary drinks sponsored by Furniture News, food and a DJ.

On Thursday, the Women in Furniture Network will host a leadership-themed brunch at 11:30am, with a keynote from La-Z-Boy Incorporated’s CEO and president, Melinda Whittington.

"MFS’ relaunch is set to be a success, with 75% of visitors already tipped to return for the relaunch and 20% of buyers only visiting Manchester," concludes Clarion. "Make sure you join in the fun at the furniture industry’s favourite summer’s sourcing event!"
