Flair reveals significant gains

Flair Furniture Group, which owns online furniture retailers Bedkingdom and Cuckooland, has reported £34.3m revenue for the 25/26 FY, marking an increase of 22% YoY.

The business achieved a 461% increase in operating profit, reaching £1.2m. This progression has led to the group being named among the UK’s fastest-growing private, founder-led companies in the FEBE Growth 100, placing 73rd based on compound annual growth and sales.

Reinvestment into the business has been a key area of focus in 25/26, with the group recovering from the cost of acquiring a new warehouse in Liversedge – which it quickly outgrew – before investing in a third warehouse location in West Yorkshire earlier this year.

The recent growth looks set to continue for the furniture ecommerce firm, with Q1 figures for 2026 up 31% YoY. To further this expansion and continue on a positive growth trajectory, Bedkingdom says it is exploring launching the business in new European and international markets, with plans to grow its product offer, which has recently expanded into dining and garden furniture.

The online retailer curates a selection of boutique furniture brands, and sells several brand-owned ranges of furniture, including Flair Beds, Flair Furnishings, Noomi, Recoil Gaming, and SOLACE+CO.

In recent years, the company has grown to employ 49 members of staff, and has been recognised in the Ward Hadaway Yorkshire Fastest 50 listings twice, placing 45th in 2024 and jumping to 18th position in 2025.

Founder and MD Ashley Hainsworth (pictured) explains: “I never imagined the business I started from humble beginnings and bootstrapped as an experimental university project over 10 years ago would turn into one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies.

“Myself and the team have worked incredibly hard to get here, continuously improving and investing in our people, product range, customer experience and technology. We are incredibly grateful to our customers for shopping with us time and time again, and will make sure we continue to provide great products and customer service as we build towards international expansion. Our first stop in terms of expansion is Ireland.”
