The Cotswold Company, the digitally-led, handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, has announced the opening of its newest showroom in Kingston upon Thames, alongside plans to open its 16th showroom at Redbrick, West Yorkshire, creating a combined 16 new jobs.
The Kingston showroom, located at 27 Thames Street, represents the company’s first showroom in London and its first opening of 2026, while the Redbrick showroom, located within one of the UK’s leading design-led retail destinations, marks the 16th store and the second planned opening in the group’s new FY.
The Redbrick showroom, which covers approximately 5,000 sqft, is situated within a 140,000 sqft destination for interiors and design, home to over 40 premium brands, and will showcase the brand’s bestselling products across each category, including the Chester, Chantilly, Berkely, Winchcombe and Camille ranges.
The openings build on a period of progress for The Cotswold Company, including the recent launch of its Chichester showroom in December, which it says is trading ahead of expectations, as well as continued recognition for the strength of the brand, most recently being named Retail Week’s Best Retailer Under £250m.
CEO Ralph Tucker says: “The official opening of Kingston is a great milestone for the brand. London has always been an important market for us, and we’re pleased bring our offering to local customers that really resonate with the benefits of long-lasting, timeless furniture. Redbrick similarly provides a fantastic platform in the North, and we’ve been deliberate in selecting a destination that has celebrated design and interiors for 25 years, making it a natural fit for our premium furniture.
“It’s this attention and strategic focus when it comes to our showroom pipeline that helps us scale sustainably, and with number 16 opening soon, we’re well on our way to become one of the most-loved furniture and homeware brands in the country.”
