Matt Richardson, NBF acting president, says: “As we edge towards two decades of the esteemed NBF Bed Industry Awards, they continue to provide a valuable opportunity to recognise the stand-out companies in the UK and Irish bed sector who have truly gone above and beyond over the past year. Congratulations to all the worthy winners and finalists, and those who put themselves forward to be judged.”
Following the gala dinner, live band Eddie & The Murphys closed out yet another successful evening.
“The NBF Bed Industry Awards ceremony is possibly our favourite night in the industry calendar, and judging by the delighted faces, group hugs and triumphant cheers filling the room in Telford, it may well be the favourite for many of the bed businesses across the UK and Ireland too,” the NBF enthuses.
“Several categories this year were described by judges as ‘incredibly close’, while a number of finalists across retail, manufacturing and supplying were awarded Highly Commended recognition. This is a clear reflection of the strength and breadth of talent across our industry, with businesses continually raising the bar in what they deliver.
“From developing innovative products and providing exceptional customer service to investing in people, supporting local communities and making progress on sustainability, businesses continue to demonstrate their ambition and resilience, despite the challenges facing the industry and wider economy.
“We are incredibly proud of the achievements highlighted in this awards feature, and extend our congratulations to all the winners and finalists. To everyone who entered this year – thank you for sharing your successes with us. The standard continues to rise, so keep up the great work, and we hope to see you on the shortlist next year. You never know!”
