Leekes, the family-owned retailer based in South Wales, held its annual Golf and Spa Day at The Vale Resort last week, raising an impressive £20,100 for the NSPCC.
This sold-out event, held on 27th June, brought together Leekes suppliers and supporters for a day of golf or relaxing spa treat, in the name of charity.
The evening festivities included a gin cocktail reception, courtesy of Hensol Castle Distillery, followed by a meal, raffle and a charity auction.
Leekes is proud to report that this year’s event has set a new fundraising record, surpassing all previous years.
Emma Leeke, MD of Leekes Retail and a board member of NSPCC Cymru, says: “Yet again our suppliers and friends came out in numbers to support our day and demonstrated enormous generosity. I would like to thank them and the teams at and the Vale Resort for all their help in making it such a fabulous day raising such a significant sum of money for the NSPCC.
