Oak Furnitureland's new Northampton store promises product debut

Oak Furnitureland will open the doors to its new showroom on Northampton’s Riverside Retail Park this Saturday (24th October). Opening weekend celebrations will include free gifts for the first 100 visitors and the chance to explore the retailer’s latest collections, with the new Santorini sofa range launching this weekend.

The 12,500 sqft showroom will showcase the retailer’s expanding ‘Whole Home’ proposition, featuring fully styled room sets to help customers visualise looks across living, dining, bedroom and home office spaces.

The opening has created seven new jobs locally, including roles across sales, showroom management and customer support.

Ruth Johnson, store manager, says: “There’s nothing quite like trying new potential furniture for yourself – whether that’s a new sofa for family movie nights, or choosing the perfect dining table for a full house at Christmas. We’re excited to open our doors and help shoppers in Northampton to do just that this week.

“We’ve got a brilliant opening weekend planned, with goodie bags for our first 100 visitors and the chance to try out our brand-new Santorini sofa range. Our new team can’t wait to meet everyone and help them find pieces they’ll love for years to come.”

Alex Fisher, chief executive of Oak Furnitureland, adds: “It’s exciting to welcome Northampton to our network of 70 showrooms across the UK, creating seven local jobs and bringing our furniture to even more customers. The new showroom brings our Whole Home offering to life, helping customers find inspiration and choose stylish, properly made furniture at outstanding prices. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome customers from across Northamptonshire.”

Last year, the retailer launched its Lifetime Furniture Guarantee which covers the structural framework of both cabinet and upholstery collections - demonstrating the brand's commitment to furniture which is built to last. It also offers interest-free credit options to help customers create their ideal home at affordable prices.

The opening takes Oak Furnitureland's nationwide store footprint to 70.
